Niagara City Lofts (Niagara Falls, NY)
In a well publicized project known as the Niagara City Lofts Project, which is turning long vacant for South Junior High School into 61 loft apartments with 18,000 square feet of commercial space. Because the 110,000 the building is a three-story 115,000 square foot brick building with 46 classrooms, an auditorium, gymnasium and pool that first opened for classes in 1922 but has been vacant for many years. Due to the site being abandoned for many years, Fibertech are exposed to potential contaminants including asbestos, lead, PCB caulk, bird excrement and mold.
Fibertech relies on our respiratory protection plan, years of training in the industry and safe, sound work practices to complete this project in a safe and efficient manner with the safety of the public and employees most important as well as what is in the best interest of the owner being mindful of time and budget. It was our efficient work with R&P Oak Hill on the Braco Linwood Apartment project that made Fibertech the preferred contractor to complete environmental cleanup required for this project.
