Kensington High School (BPS 203)

Fibertech completed a major renovation at Kensington High School for Ciminelli Construction during Phase IV of the Buffalo Schools project.  The work involved the abatement of asbestos containing materials, PCB caulk, fluorescent light bulbs  and interior demolition   It is working with companies such as Ciminelli Construction that Fibertech learns sound construction management and safe work practices that can be adapted and used on all other Fibertech projects regardless of size and scope.  The Kensington High School project was the fourth City of Buffalo School Fibertech was contracted on during the 1 billion dollar investment into the revitalization of the Buffalo Schools projects over a 10 year period.  The other schools Fibertech successfully completed were BPS 19, 31 and 38, from which Fibertech learned a great deal about construction and construction mangagement, including working with project labor agreements
